Alma is searching for happiness she fears is too late to find. In the midst of selling her family’s coastal home, Alma rashly decides to move into the house, leave her husband of 50 years and live the life she’s always dreamed of. As Alma struggles with the challenges of starting new, the film revisits her first life shaping experiences as an 11-year-old girl.

Within the adversity of great change, Alma will do anything to hold onto the pieces of happiness she finds. Still, her problems continue to loom over her, and only when they come crashing down can Alma see beyond her past and present to the true meaning in her life.
