Born and raised in rural Ontario, Andreas’s journey towards Cinema was marked by adventures ranging from organic farming to choreographing, from starting a catering business at the age of seventeen, to winning the Renatra Fusca award at the World Finals of the Odyssey of the Mind competition. He was drawn to Cinema as a natural meeting point for the arts, cultures, business practices.
In 2004 he moved to Montréal and in 2008 he graduated from the prestigious Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University with a degree in Film Production and in French. He received the Mel Hoppenheim Award, the school’s top prize. He is a founding member of GreenGround Productions.
